I LOST THREE POUNDS OVERNIGHT!

Ok. I'm not trying to lose weight. Overall, I consider myself in slightly over-average shape. And I just lose three pounds overnight. HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS HAPPEN!? Do I breath out some heavy gas when I'm asleep!? Really, I shouldn't be allowed to lose weight with so little effort! Really! People talk about not running and doing pushups and all, and, all of a sudden, I do it. I shouldn't be allowed to do that! It ought to be illegal! HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN!?

And if you wonder why I'm asking this, just imagine how much money I could get if I knew how to replicate these effects.

hahaha, that's great.

Here's my guess:

Let's say you get up at 7:30

have breakfast at 8:00

then you have a snack 10:00

lunch at 12:30

another snack at 3:00

dinner at 4:30

you go to bed at 10:00

and have breakfast at 8:30 the next morning

The longest interval you have bewteen eating during the day is only 2 and half hours. But then from dinner time to the next breakfast time you don't eat for 15 hours, granted that you a normal schedule;), you lose that extra food weight you've had all yesterday, but then I think people just regain it during the next day. So it may be a give and take process.

Honestly, I don't understand your point...

I weighed myself just before going to bed, and then just after getting up...

So, I think what I eat for breakfast, lunch, and supper has much to do with how heavy I am just before, and right after sleeping.

You don't think that your body used up food for energy, during the night, and thus got rid of weight? I dunno...I guess I just thought that after not eating for 15 hours, you'd inevitably lose weight.

Hmm. I just found it slightly incredible that I could lose three pounds when the only obvious means of ejecting weight (as it were) was my mouth. In other words, I'd have to barf or breath. I only breathed.

Yeah I guess my theory would work if a half a pound was lost. :) but three!?! heh I would like into that more, but unfortunately we don't own a scale.

If you could replicate it, you'd make bushels o' money, but by that time, you'd have wasted away, three pounds at a time...

You should try exercising...
then you might lose more then three pounds in fat, but gain more then three pounds in muscle. that'd be awesome.

I do exercise! Pretty...much...

Maybe I should run too, though...
